JSS RETREAT: 8/1/09 (date still may change), a full day at Eaglecrest including:
1. reading sessions covering all of the repertoire planned for this year's season;
2. opportunities for hiking and ziplining;
3. the chance to spend a day away with your favorite orchestral musicians.

FALL CONCERT: "Peace Project" playing music from peace-challenged times and places and raising support for the reestablishment of a music school in Kabul, Afghanistan (http://www.afghanistannationalinstituteofmusic.org/index.html). 11/14/09 at 7:30 & 11/15/09 at 4, Juneau Arts and Culture Center.
