Business Donors

Our goal this year is to raise $42,000 from our business community. You can help by contributing a cash donation, purchasing an ad in our concert programs, or by donating an item to our silent auction or raffle. The Juneau community has long been an exceptional supporter of the arts and we are amazed every year at the enthusiastic response we get from our patrons. We hope you will join our growing family of business partners and help us bring Juneau the gift of live music.

Cash Donations

(Our favorite!)

Donations can be made via check or credit card. To donate by mail download our donor form and mail it along with your check or credit card information to:

Juneau Symphony
PO Box 21236
Juneau, AK 99802

Checks should be made out to "Juneau Symphony". We are also happy to take credit card donations over the phone. You can reach us at (907)586-4676 to donate via credit card. All contributions, large and small, will help us reach our goal. The donor form also lists the benefits you'll recieve for your donation, from concert sponsorship to complimentary tickets. All businesses who make cash contributions will be listed on our "Business Supporters" page in our concert programs.

Advertise in our Programs

Our concert programs are read by upwards of 2,500 Juneau patrons each year. Our rates are extremely reasonable and include all four mainstage concerts. Ad orders received before September 19 will be included in our fall 2008 program and run through summer 2009. Orders received after September 19 will start in our winter program and continue through fall 2009.

InKind Donations

We welcome donations of services and prizes that help with our silent auction, travel raffle and general operation. The benefits for inkind donations are the same as cash donation benefits and are listed on our donor form. All inkind donors will also be listed on our "Business Supporters" program page.

Silent Auction: At our fall concerts on October 25 & 26 we will hold our annual Silent Auction fundraiser which will hopefully raise nearly $10,000. We are looking for donations of prizes or services that we can auction off. Items include store merchandise, gift certificates, event tickets, baked goods, and hours of service such as landscaping or consulting. Items can be dropped off at the Symphony office or picked up by our volunteers. If you would like to donate an item you can use our donor form or call the office at 586-4676.

Travel Raffle: In spring of 2009 we will hold our annual Travel Raffle, our largest fundraiser. We reserve 5-6 of our largest donated prizes for the raffle. Past raffle prizes include airline tickets, cruise tickets, hotel rooms and tour excursions. If you would like to donate to our raffle please call the office at 586-4676.

Musician Housing: Each concert our visiting musicians and conductor need places to stay, usually for three nights. If you would like to donate hotel rooms or can provide other accomodations in town please call the office at 586-4676.
